Why FixPixelated exists
People use “pixelated” for several different problems: compression blocks, low source resolution, poor resizing, noise, and repeated saving. Those causes need different treatment. FixPixelated is designed to diagnose the visible problem before choosing an operation and to keep the limits of any generative estimate visible.
How the workflow works
The intended workflow is choose, validate, select Auto, Deblock, Upscale, or Denoise, process, independently validate the output, compare, and download. The public beta now sends an explicitly submitted image to Kie.ai GPT Image 2 through a server-side boundary. Its output may improve visible artifacts, but it does not prove recovered detail, metadata removal, or physical deletion. You can inspect the current Fix a photo workspace shell.
- Choose a supported still image and run local browser checks.
- Select Auto, Deblock, Upscale, or Denoise.
- Submit the image to the Kie beta, then inspect the generative output beside the selected source before downloading it.
- Keep the source and download a useful result. Do not submit sensitive media while provider privacy facts remain unresolved.
What the service can and cannot do
Processing may reduce distracting artifacts and estimate smoother structure. Estimated detail is not recovered ground truth. The service is not intended for forensic conclusions, reversing redaction, proving identity, or guaranteeing a perfect restoration.
How examples are handled
Concept visuals are labelled as interface-design references and are never presented as product evidence. A real example requires a licensed or owned same-source pair, documented damage and processing settings, actual approved pipeline output, and at least one difficult case with limited improvement.
Privacy and correction policy
The Privacy Policy separates current beta behavior from the broader intended service contract. The contact page records which public channels are still unresolved. Factual corrections will be reviewed and dated once a real correction channel and operating owner exist.
Operating identity
No legal entity name, registration detail, publication address, or operating jurisdiction has been approved for FixPixelated. None is asserted here. Their absence remains a material public beta limitation until the facts are verified and legally reviewed.
