FixPixelated Privacy Policy

This beta page has no legal effective date and names no contracting operator. If the Kie beta badge is shown, selecting a file is local, but pressing Upload Photo transfers that file through FixPixelated’s Vercel-hosted server route to Kie.ai for GPT Image 2 processing.

Before submission, the browser may read:

• The selected file’s declared type and byte size.
• Decoded dimensions and other local validation facts.
• A sanitized display name shown only in the current page.

Local facts and a Blob preview remain in browser memory before submission. On submission, the server sends the image bytes to Kie.ai’s temporary file service and creates a GPT Image 2 task. The browser receives an opaque task token, not the Kie task ID, API key, or provider result URL.

The beta ties an encrypted anonymous owner cookie to the current browser. Clearing cookies, refreshing after the in-memory task map is lost, or changing devices may remove access. Status and result bytes pass through the application API; provider task IDs and temporary provider URLs are not exposed to the browser.

The services below distinguish currently active beta roles from roles that are still unselected. Active does not mean every legal, residency, retention, training, or subprocessor fact has been independently verified.

  Image processing

  An explicitly submitted image is transferred server-side for generative image-to-image processing. Region, training terms, subprocessors, transfer basis, and exact deletion timing are not independently verified.

• No hosted production provider is selected or active

  Image probing

  The isolated probing operator, location, inputs, retention, and subprocessor terms have not been verified.

• No hosted production provider is selected or active

  Output sanitization

  No provider has been approved to normalize orientation, color, metadata, or output format in production.

  Independent output validation

  No independent validator or its region, retention, secondary-use, and subprocessor terms have been approved.

• Vercel hosts the public beta

  Hosting

  Application requests and server-side processing routes run on Vercel. Legal operator details, log retention, and a complete subprocessor disclosure remain unresolved.

• No hosted production provider is selected or active

  CAPTCHA

  No challenge provider, privacy policy, data flow, region, retention, or consent behavior has been approved.

• No hosted production provider is selected or active

  Error monitoring

  No monitoring vendor, event allowlist, data region, retention, or subprocessor set has been approved.

• Google Analytics 4 is installed

  Product analytics

  The site-wide GA4 property is active. A complete consent, retention, browser-signal, and data-transfer disclosure still requires legal review.

Kie documentation says uploaded files and generated result URLs are temporary and typically remain accessible for up to 24 hours, but the same documentation contains inconsistent deletion wording. This beta therefore does not promise an exact physical-deletion time. Download useful results promptly and do not submit sensitive images.

Delete now is disabled for Kie beta tasks. Kie does not expose a deletion receipt that FixPixelated can independently verify, and closing the page does not cancel an already created provider task.

FixPixelated checks the returned MIME type, byte limit, dimensions, and source aspect before preview. It does not yet independently prove removal of EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC, thumbnails, comments, or every other metadata field. Treat downloaded beta output as an untrusted generative file until those checks are added and verified.

Google Analytics 4 is installed site-wide using the public measurement ID. A complete consent-mode decision, event/property allowlist, retention setting, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track behavior, and data-transfer disclosure still requires legal review.

No operating jurisdiction or request-verification process has been approved, so this draft does not promise rights that may not apply. A public request channel and the applicable legal rights must be added after legal review. See the contact status page for unresolved channels.

This project uses a public beta boundary and does not claim absolute security. A legally reviewed minimum-age rule, security contact, privacy contact, material-change process, and service-specific safeguards are not yet approved. Those gaps remain public beta limitations.
